This 1975 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia is a pop-top Campmobile that is said to have been refurbished in the late 1990s during previous ownership, and it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021. The camper is finished in Pastel White over patterned upholstery, and power is provided by a 2.0-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a pop-up camper top, a fold-down rear bench seat, a refrigerator and sink, woodgrain millwork, and curtains. This Type 2 Campmobile is now offered with a clean New Jersey title. The ‘bay window’ bus body and bumpers were refinished in Pastel White (L90D) during the refurbishment according to the selling dealer. Exterior equipment includes louvered side windows, rear fresh air vents, dual side mirrors, and a connection for a 125-volt electrical supply. The rear-hinged Westfalia pop-top is shown in the gallery in both its raised and lowered positions as well as from the inside. Steel 14″ wheels with VW-logo center caps are equipped with Michelin tires said to have been fitted in 2001. The cabin features green vinyl upholstery and matching carpets, along with plaid cloth inserts over the front passenger buckets and the rear bench. The van is equipped with a heater and manually operated windows, and a Kenwood cassette player is linked to a CD changer mounted behind the driver’s seat. Photos of the front footwells with the carpets removed are provided in the gallery below. VDO instrumentation includes a 90-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a clock as well as an array of warning lights. The six-digit odometer indicates 31k miles. The rear compartment features woodgrain millwork, a sink, a refrigerator, and dual wall outlets. Additional camping amenities include a rear bench seat that folds flat into a bed, a loft bed, and brown privacy curtains. The air-cooled 2.0L flat-four features fuel injection and delivers power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Per the seller, the fluids and filters were replaced in 2020. Additional photos are presented in the gallery below showing the underside and black undercoating as well as corrosion on portions of the exhaust.
