This 1976 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia is a pop-top Campmobile that is finished in yellow with a white roof and bumpers over a yellow and green interior. Power comes from a 2.0-liter flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes a sink, a convertible bed, a pop-up tent with a mesh window, and a front-mounted spare tire. The van has reportedly been in the seller’s family since new, making its way into his parents’ possession two decades ago before being acquired by the seller in 2021. This Westfalia bus is now offered with a homemade trailer and a clean Washington State title. The bus has reportedly undergone a repaint and is finished in Marino Yellow (A20) with white bumpers and a rear-hinged Westfalia pop-top. Exterior equipment includes a covered front-mounted spare tire, louvered side windows, and a retractable side awning. A homemade trailer painted to match the van is included in the sale, and additional photos of the exterior and trim are provided in the gallery below. Silver-painted 15” steel wheels wear polished VW hubcaps and are mounted with 185/75 Yokohama Super Van 356 tires. The front seats are finished in yellow-and-green plaid cloth with green vinyl seatbacks matching the door panels, and were reportedly reupholstered under current ownership. The push-button AM/FM stereo and centrally-mounted CB radio are inoperative. A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 90-mph speedometer, a clock, and a fuel-level gauge along with various warning lights, while a gauge pod sits atop the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 1,500 of which have been added by the seller. The rear cabin features woodgrain paneling, a fold-away table, plaid yellow-and-green cloth upholstery, a rear bench seat that folds flat, and patterned window curtains along with a sink and an icebox. The air-cooled 1,970cc flat-four was equipped from the factory with a fuel injection system. Recent service included replacing and adjusting the valves, installing new fuel injection sensors, and performing an oil change. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are shown in the gallery.
